Tools List

Being a developer there are lot of tools which ease my working. I am listing them out here.

Eazfuscator: A free obfuscating tool for .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.0 (Beta release). A simple and handy tool to protect you application from reflector.

LinqPad: It will be good if SQL Server also allows us to execute LINQ queries, so the developers can debug their queries on the fly. LinqPad is a free tool until and unless you require auto complete feature in it.

jQueryPad: A free and promising tool to convert your HTML code to jQuery code in a jiffy. A must have for jQuery lovers.

WMI Code Creator: When I want to get the machine information in my application I use this tool. This is free tool from Microsoft which comes up with a simple interface and generates WMI code for C# and VB.NET. This tool will save you a lot of time if you are working with WMI.

.NET Reflector: If you haven’t used or heard about this tool, then may be you are a newbie. You heard about reflection in .NET. Well, this tool has changed the definition. Download and check it out yourself.

SQL Scripter: Make SQL scripts with ease. This is the best tool so far in my collection to generate SQL queries.

VM Ware: Virtualizes your development machine. If you don’t know about this tool then you haven’t tried anything good yet.

Orbit Downloader: Who don’t like Microsoft’s webcasts and, channel 9 videos, showcases and training videos? Well, I have a huge collection of videos. But, how to download videos from silverlight streaming player? As a result I get this tool, now I can pause, resume and catch streaming videos from flash and silverlight players.

ZoomIt: If you do a lot of presentations, then this tool must be in your toolkit. Windows built in zoom tool is good, but ZoomIt allows you to zoom and draw on the screen.

WinSnap & Windows Clippings: If you are a blogger then these two tools will help you to take screenshots, some better screenshots.
